Can’t make it but know someone who can? Transfer your entry through your RSU profile by September 1. They’ll pay a $25 fee and complete registration by September 7. Not ready to hang up the bib? Defer your race—5K, Half marathon, or District Challenge—for 2027 for $25 through your RSU profile by September 1. Add-ons don’t carry over and are not refundable. RIF breaks down financial barriers so that more runners from underrepresented and underserved communities across the DMV and beyond can toe the start line with us. Every contribution goes directly toward complimentary race entries for individuals facing financial hardship—$50 covers one full entry.
